As Senior Case Manager at the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), Attorney Rami Zahr managed hundreds of cases involving family conflict, with overlapping immigration and criminal law issues, resulting in child abductions. His recognition of the central role of legal representation in such cases formed the basis of his extended studies in family law at the local, national, and international levels. Equipped with a wealth of knowledge about family, immigration, and criminal law, Mr. Zahr is able to offer unrivaled legal representation to clients in Virginia and, if necessary, by associating with local counsel nationwide.
In addition to licensure in Virginia, Rami Zahr is a member of the Federal Bar, Minnesota State Bar, Virginia State Bar and Fairfax County Bar Associations. Mr. Zahr holds a degree in criminal justice from the George Washington University and a Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law where he founded and was president of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Society. He is a Virginia Supreme Court Certified Mediator for Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts. Mr. Zahr has conducted presentations on International Parental Child Abduction (IPCA) for litigators, law enforcement officers, and international groups.
